Our vision for Willamette Tides started with the idea to create fun and adventure for the Willamette Valley Community. This has required planning and coordination over the past 2 years and we are now only weeks away from the beginning and couldn't be more excited!
To provide a fun river experience for everyone we put together a few different floats and are showcasing them in this months blog:
River tube floats on the Expedition (1-hour float) and Voyage (2-hour float) provide the perfect activity for splashing on the water with family and friends. Our river tubes are made from the same material and process as whitewater rafts and include a life jacket, whistle, paddle, and of course shuttle. So you can kick back in your 48” river tube with confidence as you soak up the summer.
Our tandem Kayaks and 4-person rafts are just what you need for a fun and relaxing day on the water with small or large groups and are available for all 3 of our floats: Expedition (1-hour float), Voyage (2-hour float), and the Journey (4-hour float). We carefully selected our kayaks and rafts to ensure we provided the highest quality. Check out Rocky Mountain Rafts to learn more about the tubes, kayaks, and rafts they supply. Your rental includes life jackets, paddles, whistles, and shuttle.
For families with little ones we included a children’s Scavenger Hunt and Quest map for the Journey. When you arrive with your little ones we have your map ready with a scavenger hunt on the back. A prize awaits at the end of the Adventurer’s quest.
Our last but not least float takes you on the Journey for an overnight river camping adventure. The Saturday night self-guided river camping float includes a raft, cooler, pop-up tent, 2 dry bags, 2 headlamps, cookware, and a river map of camping locations. Camping on the river is nothing short of fun and adventure for a group of friends or family and is by far a personal favorite!
We hope to have the opportunity to serve you this season on the river and look forward to the adventure that awaits! Thank you from all of us at Willamette Tides!
